Robolta R2 Pro review

The quick answer

The Robolta R2 Pro is a robot vacuum and mop with 5,000 Pa suction, LiDAR 3.0 navigation, multi-floor mapping, carpet boost, auto recharge and resume and up to three hours of runtime. It is controlled from an app and by voice. It has no auto-empty station, so you empty its dustbin yourself; the R2 Max adds that for a higher price.

Why we like it

LiDAR 3.0 navigation with multi-floor mapping at ₹21,999
A 4,000 mAh battery for up to three hours of listed runtime, plus auto recharge and resume
Vacuum and wet mop in one pass, with carpet boost for rugs
App and voice control, with simple scheduling for beginners
15 mm obstacle height and HEPA13 filters in the box

Before you buy

There is no auto-empty station: you empty the dustbin after cleaning.
5,000 Pa is a mid-range suction figure, and Robolta does not list a mop-water capacity.
The page showed a Sold Out notice beside the buy button, so confirm stock.
The store ships within India only, and no noise figure is listed.

Why we like the R2 Pro as a first LiDAR robot

LiDAR mapping used to be a premium feature. The R2 Pro brings it to ₹21,999: it scans the home, builds a map you can edit in the app and cleans in neat passes rather than bouncing around. Multi-floor mapping lets a two-storey home keep a layout per level, and a 4,000 mAh battery lists up to three hours of runtime, which covers most Indian flats in a single go. It then returns to charge and resumes by itself.

Setup and home fit

Place the base against a wall with clear space in front, fit the roller brush, side brushes and a mop pad, and pair the robot with the Robolta app. Carpet boost raises suction on rugs, and the robot manages obstacles up to 15 mm, so check door sills and rug edges. Measure under-furniture clearance before buying; the listing does not state the robot height.

Everyday cleaning and features

The R2 Pro vacuums and wet mops in one pass, which suits dusty floors and sealed hard surfaces. Schedules and zones are set in the app, and voice control works with compatible assistants. Robolta describes 5,000 Pa as suitable for daily dust and pet hair. The box includes two mop pads and two HEPA13 filters, so you have spares from day one.

What to know before you buy

This model does not empty itself; you empty the dustbin and rinse the mop pad. Suction is mid-range, and Robolta publishes no mop-water capacity or noise figure. The page displayed a Sold Out notice beside the buy button even though the feed showed it available, so confirm stock, and note that shipping is within India only.

Our buying advice

Buy the R2 Pro if you want LiDAR-mapped daily cleaning on a budget. Robolta lists it at ₹21,999, and the partner program reports 3% off with code SEBASTIANBASSOL, which would bring it to about ₹21,339.03 if it applies; confirm the total at checkout because eligibility has not been verified. If you want the dustbin emptied automatically, compare the R2 Max.
